Synthetic Data
Generate synthetic HFSRB-regulated facility records across all 16 licensed facility types. This is the first stage of the AREF simulation pipeline — all downstream stages depend on this output.
Synthetic Facility Generator
This module will allow you to configure and run the synthetic facility generator — specifying the number of facilities per type, geographic distribution, license status mix, and operational parameters. Generated facilities will populate the facilities table and unlock Stage 3 (Synthetic Inspections).
Planned Capabilities
- Configure facility count per HFSRB type
- Set geographic distribution (region/province)
- Assign license status and expiry dates
- Generate operational metadata (bed count, staff size)
- Preview facility distribution before committing
- Export generated facility manifest as CSV
- Validate against facility_types seed data
- One-click regeneration with new random seed
HFSRB Facility Type Seed Data
These 16 facility types are pre-loaded into the facility_types table and will be used to classify all synthetic facilities generated in Stage 1.
